well I am home now
I got home from work earlier than usual today. I started work about half an hour early and so I left
a half an hour early. Things are ok here. I was depressed when I got home. Work was hyper energy
and a lot of activity. I don't know if it was the contrast to coming home to a standstill - but I kind of went into
a depression and felt powerless to change anything or direct myself to effectuate the day.
I know I have to fight for it so I will.
I love my friends who are there to mark the time of our mutual lives as we live them. I feel like
I think it's time to make some 'play dates' for myself. Part of me remembered when I was a parishoner at
a local Anglican church. It really was too much for me - and so I left.
How can I fill the void of my life now? I think to keep in touch with people as I can - and make more
"in person" events for us to share.
Fight for it - and don't focus on the depression!! We all will find our 'order' and way of dealing with things.

Big hug for you sweetie.... Playdates sound like a wonderful idea!!!.... or what about volunteer work?
I find that I can have trouble simply being social however if I am focused on something like a volunteer position I am fine
I've done some really interesting things in the volunteer/mental health realm over the years and really enjoyed it
I volunteered at a crisis hotline for a couple of years.... a homeless youth shelter and a bipolar assoc..... all interesting and rewarding as well I got to interact with some great people...… Just a thought if you aren't comfortable with the small getting to know you talk...… xo
thanks Jan! Good ideas!! I think I might look into volunteering as well as go back to my drawing class on Saturdays.

Good way to look at things Mark. We all need to find order and peace.
