Well bring on the plateau!
So I probably know better than to weigh myself more than once a week because of all the feelings that go with it. I have been holding steady at 305 for the last week and a half. Normally I am losing between 3 to 4 lbs a week. I have exercised more and maintained my diet, drank more water and so on. I guess I have hit a plateau. The last plateau I had was a few months ago. I was there for 2 weeks. I pushed ahead and eventually started to lose weight again. And prayer helped to I believe. You know this journey is so interesting sometimes. I totally appreciate the process because I don't think people really realize how hard this whole thing can be. You not only go through stages in your mind with this but with your body and the total transformation. I say this is working for the greater good in my mind. How even though the process is hard I look at it in a whole picture sense. This is helping me as well as others who are going through the same journey of whole health. So it really is all worth it for me. I haven't exercised yet today but will in a little bit. I had an over-easy egg with 1 piece of whole wheat bread, and about a half a cup of fresh fruit with a glass of fat-free milk, Ate a little later this morning but kind of like that cause it sets my clock to eat when I want to really eat. Especially my evening meal. I remember 7 years ago how I was about 60 lbs lighter than what I am today. I was doing the dr.phil diet. In one month and a half I lost 20 lbs. But I hated the diet and exercise. Now I'm at a point where I can see myself maintaining this for the rest of my life. And I'm realizing that there are so many things that I can eat that I'm going to take full advantage of it. That way I don't get bored with my eating. Today I'm going to make crockpot chili for dinner with a nice house salad. And I'm so looking forward to eating it. Tomorrow I'm going to make chicken fajitas with guacamole and sour cream. Now I have made healthier versions of this and still continue to lose weight. It's great! So good things are coming my way I believe.
