welcome day after a morning at work
just relaxing a little bit and playing with Blue.
The morning at work went alright. Got some good things
done and talked to my boss for a little while about our agenda.
I tried to think about things differently when the annoying mental 'peanut gallery'
tried to disrupt my smooth sailing flow of work. I wondered today if it meant
that I needed or wanted something that I was not getting while I worked.
I also could project that the same scramble brains peanut gallery would come to visit
me when I started to and took my drive home. It was a helpful thought in some ways.
Anyway, I made it home and frankly felt vacuous and awful when I arrived. Actually I just didn't feel a thing, tired
beaten around maybe, I just had an empty view of things. So, I decided to jump in the shower, clean myself up
and dress for the upcoming online therapy meeting. It really helped. I opened the windows
and the sunshine, fresh air, and bird songs are great!
Things are good! Just have a more optimistic outlook now!
Sometimes you got to jumpstart yourself, even if you don't feel like it...
start in a positive direction and it will rub off on you :)....
hugs for a good day! I'll be back! :) hehe

Excellent!
God Bless You Mark!!
thanks Mid and Mary Louise!
My "Peanut Gallery" is so big and rowdy that I started dividing them into "Puppet Shows" as I became aware of which sections of the peanut gallery were getting out of hand during certain stages of my life. I, and several members of my support network questioned the wisdom of it, but a decade or three later it seems to have helped. Every so often those damned puppets in my head will even shut up when I imagine myself with a director's megaphone calling, "QUIET ON THE SET! ! !"
lol - I came away from this imagining Kermit the Frog yelling to the crew on the Muppet Show.
Nice! Opening windows and hearing birds....so refreshing to read as I look out at mounds of snow!
Sounds like a wonderful day......Good for you for opening that window LC!!.... Yay You...xo
