weird times
went out this morning for a cup of coffee from the Starbucks.
Not a lot of people on the roads. Not a lot of people at the Starbucks.
They asked me how I was doing and I said "A litttle freaked out actually.."
They shook their heads with knowing expression "Understand..."
Settling in for the day. I will social distance and just wanted to reach outÂ
to you guys and say hi. I have a candle lit and incense burning - for some reason
they fill the space with some reverance and comfort. It smells like church.
Sending peace.

At the rate this whachmacallit is progressing, pretty soon we will all live in sterile bubbles with monitors to make certain we don't violate the anti-touching laws. Are we safe yet?
My favorite part of the Andes Mountains was the temples so ancient that the stones smell of prayer candles, whether there are any candles lit or not. Prayer candles are a ritual which soothe me mightily. I haven't ever lit one for the current cultural yaddah blahs, but I might need to do that before I am forced to buy my sterile bubble. Betcha the current political powers won't allow even candle smoke in those bubbles.
I don't think the current political powers have the where-with-all for much of anything except self congratulating.
so I guess, not to worry - light your candle!!
Yeah I kind of think each State is self Governing because they don't have much faith in the Trump....he's not actually doing much "leading" or putting anyone at any kind of Peace of Mind. So off we go. I spent the day raking leaves in the garden, then bagging them up. Then went right up the road to the carwash, the old country kind where you put your quarters in and walk around spraying and soaping and rinsing then waxing the car. I enjoy doing that each weekend, it's peaceful. The car wash is in a corner of a cow field, so it's nice and quiet. LOL, then I filled my car with gas and came home.
The yard is clean, the car is clean, my mind is being kept busy so it doesn't think about the fact that my job is currently shut down right now, tonight I"m making homemade Chicken Pot Pie for dinner and tomorrow I'll plant the flowers I bought yesterday in the clean garden and start cleaning the inside of the house. When I run out of things to do....well we'll deal with that brain problem when I get to it.
I have my candles lit in the living room and in my master bathroom.
Fun times!!
Sounds like a cool day Kat. The sun is starting to set here. Time to deal with the change of brain problem now for myself that my
inner Julie McCoy is stepping off the job since it's the end of the day. I think I'll take a shower and put on some PJs. :)
Have a great evening and a good tomorrow!
You as well Mark!!
Thanks Kat!
