weird frustration but so it goes

went to the movies today after work. The theater is near my parents' house and so I went over there for a short visit

afterward. I am home now, and I have been filling the time by snacking quite a bit...and watching the Smithsonian Channel.

I had a really good time at the movies.

Don't really have much to do around here. Just did the dishes. I need to buy water first thing tomorrow. Then I'll go

to yoga and then swimming and visit with the parents again.

I do feel a sense of frustration but I really just need to keep at the daily routine.

It would be nice to have some sense of consistency about a positive frame of mind but my mindset changes a whole heck of a lot. I can just keep on keeping on about the routine of things. I might have a real sense of loneliness at times

but I also seem to take some solace in the adherence to routine. It's sublimation for sure but it's what I've got. :) So I'll hug myself and shimmy on down the road.

I am still growing I think and making room for new things in my life. I get a real sense that the unknown for me can seem a lot bigger at times then the things that are known...This idea is helping me remain motivated despite those feelings of awe and fear of the unknown.

In the weird twistings of my damaged brain, your post brought a song I learned in Ecuador to mind. If you feel like stretching your brain in one of Cali's other languages. . . Somehow the song fits your theme.
