Don't worry. Stick with your program. Water, 60+90 protein minimum, get your rest, and Move! Stay away from the scales and just focus on living a fabulous life! Addressing your number memories will also help. Look at what was going on in your life when you were this weight before? The weight has a tendency to pause at certain memory triggering numbers or life events. Do your mental and emotional work! The numbers themselves are only a small part of your journey. You are releasing more than fat. You are releasing years of weighty emotions that you have stuffed and eaten: pain, grief, sadness, worry, guilt, fear, drama, victimhood, self punishment, fears of the future, what if's, old patterns, old beliefs, attitudes that no longer serve you, etc. Some things to examine during plateaus. What are you afraid to let go of? What are you hanging on to? What is going on in your life that you are not wanting to look at? What 1. old attitudes, 2. old beliefs, or 3. old thought patterns are you resisting releasing? What is it about succeeding with this that scares you to death? What emotions you are stuffing your face with? What is eating at you that makes you want to eat?

So.... After weighing the other day for my 1 month weigh-in I realized I have hit the 260's and this is the area I was in for a year, year and a half (ish)... right up till my thyroid tanked last fall and I gained sooooo much. This is the weight i spent that 18 months trying to get below. With weight watchers, low carb, doc visits, thyroid med adjustments, nut visits, etc etc. I exercised like a crazy woman, I ate less, I ate more, I tried everything I knew to do, and my NUT I had at the time knew to do... and the pounds would NOT come off! This is the 18 months when I figured out what I was really made of, how strong I am... to continue fighting even when I could not get the results I wanted. This is also a hurdle that seemed I would NEVER EVER pass! For about 5 min (LOL!) I was under the 260's (truly, it was a matter of a week or two) then I bounced right back up to the 260's and there I stayed. '
My point in rambling on about this is that this might be one of my 'weighty issues'. A feeling that I will NEVER get under 260. And I want to acknowledge this so hopefully I do not get hung up in my 2nd post op month over this feeling that its impossible for me to get under 260. At this weigh in I was at 268.... so, 9 pounds is all it will take for me to break past this first hurdle! And I am GOING to DO THIS! :)
