Weight Loss Aha Moment
I was diagnosed in 2005 with IBS - debilitating IBS. It was bad. I was put on prescription medication and told I would have to take it the rest of my life to control "episodes." What a funny word, what they really meant to say was explosions in the bathroom, walking bent over like a 90 year old woman because my stomach hurt so bad, and a tummy full of gas that made me look one of those pictures on the cover of National Geographic. I was miserable! It forced me to take a look at my food choices. Too many things were identified as trigger foods. Being the rebel that I am, I ate many of them anyway and suffered the consequences (as described above). Now I was taking my meds, but still suffering. Ugh! Then menopause hit - like a ton of bricks! WOW! Why do women have to go through all this. Anyway, now I'm dealing with IBS, hot flashes, mood swings AND weight gain. Can it get any worse????
Okay, so I started trying every kind of diet under the sun. I even tried stuff that wasn't healthy; you know, the ones you can only find in the BACK of magazines. I know. I know. Fool! I was desperate all right???? All the time I was trying these inferior products, my neice was dropping pounds like crazy. I watched her journey through family gatherings and Facebook posts. How did she do that? I finally reached out and asked her. She told me and I was like, "I can't spend that kind of money." But she insisted I give it a try, knowing that I have a 30 day money back guarantee.
After continuing to stalk her FB posts for about a year, I finally pulled the trigger. I didn't tell anyone because I knew it wasn't going to work. I knew it would just be more stuff to add to my arsenal of weight loss products. I faxed my gastroenterologist the ingredients sheet for the products. I needed to get his okay to cut down or discontinue my IBS meds. He told me 8 days would be fine and gave me the green light.
The program kicked off with an 8 day cleanse. Well, I was slapped across the face when I woke up after the first day and had already lost 1.8 pounds. Not even joking, my tummy was noticeably flatter. But still a skeptic, I convinced myself it was just water weight. LOL! Doesn't matter what it was, I was walking around almost 2 pounds lighter. Fast forward to day 9. I finished the cleanse and it was my "cheat day." My official numbers were 6.5 pounds lost and 6 inches lost. Whattttt???? Crazy numbers for just 8 days. It was a victory for me. What I did not count on (I call these the non scale victories) was the incredible amount of energy I had. I was not taking afternoon naps anymore. In fact, I was out walking every day. Yep! Lazy bones was up and out. AND, no "episodes" from my IBS.
It's now been almost 2 years. I am STILL off my IBS meds. No more doctor visits for that mess, and no more co-pays for those meds. YES! I am down 2 pant sizes and I feel better now than I did in my 20's. Has real life hit me a few times? Of course, but I am armed with the tools to overcome obstacles and get through peaks and valleys. Thank you to my incredible products.
Now for the last part of the blessing. I posted my journey on Facebook. People began asking me what I was doing, because they were seeing the changes in my pics. I shared my story, they bought the same products and I started receiving thank you checks from this very generous company. It was a rocky road, but I took those lemons and made lemonade. If you are interested in getting some info about what I'm doing, please check out my website. Doesn't hurt to look. www.xyngularweightloss.com
Thanks for reading about my journey. I'll keep y'all posted on my progress.
