This is a wholesome show how people are beating cancers and how weed has been a medicine for at least 3,000 years. It also of course treats other ailments.

I'm all for weed . It's not a drug, it's a herb that is all natural and heals illnesses. I feel calm, level and ready to be peaceful in this crazy world after I smoke.

Well I have a different take. I don't care what adults do...nod to the younger people. The main issue I have is smoke.

Ask a pulmonologist or any physician, the lungs don't like smoke. It doesn't matter if it's crabgrass, wood, coal, magnesium burning through metal or a sofa. If they did, firefighters wound need respirators would they? Lungs don't like smoke.

The real object are the compounds in substances. I don't buy the argument that the lungs absorb better. That may be true, but they absorb other things too, cyanide is easily absorbed...once.

Edibles, however, are a different matter. Have at it. Unless respiration is depressed or blocked, there can be no real lung irritation. We spent billions and billions on addiction to nicotine and lung cancer. We spend untold amounts on preventing second hand smoke and child lung damage only to say that smoke from weed is somehow different. The stress in the lungs is no different: inhaling particulates. The lack of logic is astonishing.

When I was called up to potentially be active duty, the guys in the barracks were smoking cigarettes. I pulled out my pipe...tobacco pipe...and wickedly started cranking out the smoke. It started filling the room until one guy said 'you know, maybe for the benefit of the younger guys we shouldn't smoke in here'. It must have been because of me. I merrily put my pipe away.

No on the weed. I was hearing a news story today about how older folks who smoke weed daily have less cognitive function and way less memory than those who don't. They didn't study what happens to the brain when you quit weed, does your cognitive ability come back.

It is a herb or plant but it affects the brain negatively long term.

And vaping is full of chemicals, too.

I used to smoke weed until I was about 26, I guess. I was addicted and yes, that is another issue, weed is addicting. I just decided being high all the time was bad for my SOUL and that is what I am here this lifetime to work on improving.

CBD affects me negatively, too. I have a paradoxical reaction. I get more pain.

well watch the movie because they talk about the cancer killing effects and how it can be used instead of chemotherapy. It doesn't have to be a permanent solution
