We miss you so much

Hi Ric
It's was 7 months ago yesterday that we lost you and the different emotions on this journey are so random and mixed. What hurts the most is people. People who said that would be there for us then over time just ignore us or don't bother to reply, like we are out of sight, out of mind now that we've moved. I have to think logically Ric, you would say stuff them, they aren't worth it; I'm just hanging in until my grievance appeal is out of the way. I've got to be strong for that because I know the company will try and get away with how they have treated us.
We put the Xmas tree up yesterday, there was still bits of cotton wool on it, where you had given it the snow effect look! Thoms excited for Xmas counting down the days on his calendar. I bought him a stop sign for the garden, so Santa knows where he lives now. After 4 months of being here I finally managed to get the WII fit working, I had the wrong cable plugged in! I've bought a new laptop too so I can get on with my course work, and Thom can go on the other, then were not fighting over it. He will need a laptop as he gets older for school work, so it's a longterm investment. I can connect to the Internet on it too. I feel like I've achieved something when I have a technological success! Some bastard has purposefully scratched your beloved car down to the metal. My dad said report it to the police but there's little point as it was either done outside the house or school or in town, I'm not sure. :(
I'm struggling to find a new job, that's my main worry now, as I don't want to live off the insurance money, I want to pay for the house. I'm trying my best Ric, I still break down frequently like the other day when I listened to the song from your funeral. Thom is doing well at school, I can never mend his or my broken heart, but put a bit of cream on to relief the everlasting pain. We miss you everyday Ric and look forward to the day we will be with you again xxxxxx Love always Nic xxxxx
