We made it!
A new year is upon us.
I almost didn't make it,
Many people didn't.
We pray for them, may they rest in peace.
Yet now we must celebrate.
Here's to us.
Here's to those of you who cry yourselves to sleep,
Who see hate reflected In your mirrors,
The people who cut and burn and bruise to feel an ounce of something.
Everyone who has ever hung the rope, held the pills, blades, guns. The ones who stepped up to the edge,
But didn't jump.
Here's to all of us.
We made it. We should all be so proud of that. Even if you feel like you don't do anything right, YOU MADE IT One more year. That's big. That's huge! That is amazing and I'm proud of all of you. I love all of you, and I will always be here for ALL of you in 2015. My resolution for this year is to be able to post this again in 365 days.
