Waterford Pics

HI Everyone, 

Sorry I didn't post these sooner,  been a very crazy week.  My week started with being told I might have been exposed to covid, a co worker told me that our supervisor MIGHT have covid he was being tested.  Luckily he tested negative.  And I was given more info that staying home was a formality, he was not exposed directly, but his son had been exposed to a friend of his that had tested positive. I assume the child was tested.  But the supervisor had to stay home until he got tested.   AND the week ended with my landlady telling me she is selling the house.  SO I am moving AGAIN.  Been 8 months since I moved in here.  She was kind to me at the beginning then a few months later she was nasty, she had gone back to work in May (she is retired)  and I asked her if she needed to wear masks and she jumped at me and said I shouldn't engage with her and I should treat her as invisible.   I told myself then that I should look for a new place to live, but I didn't.  I let this go on until she finally told me she was moving (I saw signed of a possible move when I saw a paper in the kitchen area with lists of homes and prices and a real estate postcard with it.) 

Anyway I am trying to stay calm, which is not easy.  My birthday is coming up on Tues.  I already took off from work and am planning to take myself out.  Not sure if I will travel into DC or catch a movie, depends on the weather. 

I went with my meet up group last Sat to the Waterford Fair in Waterford VA.  I had never been to it, but apparently it is a yearly event, the organizer knew about it and set it up.  There were 4 of us that went and I had a great time.  Here are some pics I took of the town and artisans. I took pics of some wooden pumpkins, I didn't see the sign that the artisan didn't want pics taken until after I took them.  A lady informed me of the sign. Well too late.  Anyway taking pics is a compliment to his work.    One of the lady's I was with accidently broke a wooden trivit from another artisan and ended up having to buy it.  I didn't know she had broken it at first.  It fell out of her hand onto the ground, I didn't think it should have broken, but it did.  She ended up with one that was not broken so she could take it home.  It was nicely made from different woods and it was in 2 pieces that slid into each other and you could use it for a stand or wine bottle holder.
