wanting stuff but having to wait

I am very grateful for what I have..and yet starting to yearn for more...

I am referencing a perspective on accomplishments that I have made

and yet also realizing I have to wait til there's some more good stuff.

It's another visit from that bittersweetness of the human condition.

Things are good. :)

Happy Halloween!!! :)

Hola Mark,
You know I went to a psychic years ago & she told me to write a bucket list, like things I want to do or would like to do one day, she said they could be big & even small little things that I’ve always wanted to do. I wrote a bunch down, (& it ended feeling like a kinda cool therapy exercise instead of a psychics advice lol) I found the notebook recently & some of them have come true, some still yet but I hope one day. It made me think of that when you wrote what you wrote this ^ like maybe if you take a notebook & write some of the things you yearn for or want to do ... I don’t know I just figured I’d share

Some of the things I wrote

- to hopefully rescue a fur family one day *(wrote this in 2018 & ended up adopting Baby in 2020)
- to heal physically, emotionally, mentally *(still working on that one)
- to go to Maine & eat a Main lobster roll *(lol I don’t know maybe one day)

Anyways the list goes on a little but definitely some of the stuff on the list I have done

Big hugs <3

It’s good to be in a good place to accomplish those goals. I seem to go back and forth between patience for the appropriate structures to be in place before impulsive decisions or actions grab hold (I’ve always bern surrounded by those kinds of impulsive personalities in my life)…..and then……not wanting time
to be a-wasting because years pass by in an unpredictable flash. It’s a healthy balance of firm action and conscientiousness to the moments that pass by daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.

I’m beginning to think there’s never a perfect time to take important risks in life.

**starting** to yearn for more? ? ? seems to me that i have felt your yearnings from the very beginning. the confidence to go for ^it^ looks to me like the part you are struggling with. seems to me. . . you are the one with all the inside info.

as one who often goes for ^it^ before the notion is ready to fly, i have come to appreciate the value of waiting. my policy these days is, "let the dream motivate. let reality dictate." i while away that dread wait time by doing research, etc., on how to make the dream come true.

i believe our reach should always exceed our grasp. dream big but do let reality dictate. there is never a perfect time to take those important risks, but it pays to minimize those risks before jumping into deep waters.
