Walking the razor's edge...
I had a WONDERFUL couple days of Normalcy (including one that did NOT start out with the usual morning routine of talking myself out of feeling bad!); Energy! Optimism! Feeling happy! I got a lot of stuff done, and yet managed to not overdo it and exhaust myself.
Then, this morning, the usual stuff again. Now, I find myself teetering on the razor's edge. I'm trying to figure out what it's going to take to keep me from falling into the Sadness Swamp. I don't feel like just Accepting it, partially because I don't WANT to be sad, and partially because I think I can fight it off today. Accepting it is for those days when it's overwhelming, and thankfully this is not one of those days.
I could use some sleep. Taking a nap is a crap shoot, though, because sometimes I wake up and I feel exactly the same, and once in a while, I wake up and I'm WORSE! (I still remember that awful day when I woke up and went right into a panic attack! Yow, that was horrible!). Also, as I've said, almost every morning is a fight for me. My point is that the waking up from any sleep has become something I don't particularly look forward to.
So I'm going to distract myself by concentrating on chores until I get really tired, and hopefully the nap will help, not make things worse.
It's Father's Day, and although J has to work until 7, we'll be going out for a late dinner, so at least I don't have to cook.
I hope that whomever is reading this is having a WONDERFUL day, and I wish you the Best!

Mkal, I understand what you are saying about the ups and downs of waking up and starting a new day. Gone through a period of that myself. I finally figured out if I get busy on the treadmill for a good 30 mins pretty quick after getting up-(after having a Boost drink), I do better than not getting moving fast upon waking. My best friend who\'s made it to the \"other side of this madness\" says this will all pass. Hugs to you!
Enjoy your dinner tonight! ;-)
the HIGH - LOW - HIGH - LOW is so unpredictable. Someone whom I talk to every day has noticed me having a couple of good days and then, suddenly having a real bad day (hormonally speaking). I have no periods, just the worst PMS on earth. I am so bloated I can\'t stand it.
I hate it for you that you have such distress. I so understand. Here\'s hoping you enjoy your plans for tonight. And here\'s the worst: This Too Shall Pass (I hate when people say that to me when I\'m feeling so badly). (((((HUGS)))))
