Walked 2 miles

Today I did good and walked 2 miles in 52 minutes, which is an average of 26 minutes per mile. I didn't know that I was getting that fast. I was walking, and another woman was walking behind me, caught up and passed me. I felt jealous that I couldn't keep up with her, and she was just walking home, not walking for exercise like I was. Still, one of these days I will get my speed back. I can't expect to get that fast overnight. It takes a lot of work to shave time off your walk. I don't know how far I'm going to walk tomorrow... It just depends on how I feel. I may try half jogging and walking for a bit just to try and speed myself up. I had to make a pit stop at the end so I went to the other apartment complex owned by the same people as my complex and used the bathroom there. It was on the way home. While I was there, I went to the gym there as well. My legs are finally sore from something lol. I worked out all my major groups today, upper body, lower body and core.
I've lost weight again. I'm down to 217.0 pounds now. I put my new weight into Spark People and they recalculated my calorie goal. Now it's between 1,200 calories and 1,500 calories a day. I can do that. I met my goals for today. Food was good... I just don't know what I'm going to do on days when I'm hungrier than I am today. I might just have to stop eating the junk food and stick to the good stuff. Still, it's nice to know my new calorie range is something I can do. I haven't been exercising that much, so I'm not burning as many calories as I would like. It seems like there is always something in my way. I'm just glad that I got up to 2 miles today. I felt like I could do more, but I didn't want to push myself too far too fast.
Mood today was good... I got a good night's sleep last night and didn't oversleep too much. I fell asleep quickly I think, and woke up a couple times in the middle of the night. I'm getting tired, ready to go to bed, but Geo's in the room napping. I'm out in the living room for once, sitting on the couch. Normally I write in bed, but there's not enough light in there for me to be comfortable writing. I've done it before, but it's a pain in the butt. I'm just sitting here against the arm of the couch, feeling cold as the air conditioner blows partially on me. I'm wearing my winter clothes so only my arms are cold. Geo needs the cold air to sleep. He didn't sleep well last night, so I'm letting him get away with it now. This is another reason I normally write in bed.. so I can be under the covers and warm. Oh well, I just hope he's getting some good rest.
No anxiety attacks today, yay! I've been having them all the time, so having a day without one is a good thing. I think the walking helped. That, and I took klonopin sometime today I think, so it was with the after effects of that too. It's so hard for me to remember what I do in the middle of the night... I wake up all the time every night, so it's hard for me to distinguish one night from another. I know I had good dreams last night.. I didn't want to wake up, but I made myself get out of bed at 1. I wanted to not sleep all day and get ready for my walk. Geo was already awake... I don't know what time he got out of bed. I just know he got crappy sleep.
I'm going to need to go to the store soon, which sucks. We are running out of milk and we are out of bread. I'm surprised at how much milk we drink. Of course, me having my chocolate milk to help me meet my calorie goals isn't helping, but it's so yummy! I might pick up some ice cream or something at the store to help me meet my goals. Granted, 1,200 calories is a lot less than the 1,400 that they wanted me at before. I don't know what their minimum is, but that's not too many for a regular person. I know with the weight loss challenge I'm doing that's the minimum you should be eating. I should see how I do tomorrow... I want to get some set meals in again. I'm doing good with the peanut butter bagels for breakfast and chicken for dinner, but lunch is what eludes me. When I'm at work, I either eat from the cafeteria or hit the vending machines. I need to start getting healthy alternatives to bring to work. It's just hard when we don't have a lot of food stamps. I want to get a job so I don't have to worry about money, but it's just not my time yet. Maybe something temp. I will just have to wait and see.
