waking up to the jabbing thoughts

I guess I am just offering and expressing this because I don't know if I am the only one.

I doubt it.

As I was waking in between sleep and waking my mind started to have jabbing thoughts

of all the mistakes I made with my relationships yesterday and the past few days.

"My place in the world" was front and center and I started to worrying about all that

and made it worse as I grew more and more awake. The thoughts became stronger

and more elaborate. And so I figured it was time to do something about it. I took a shower

and cleaned up. I decided to text my parents, who were part of the worry but I decided to just

be positive and wish them a good day - I texted my friend the Abbess a good morning and texted

a buddy as well. I decided to pray about my place in the world, gave myself some hope and reprieve.

And now I am starting my day. It's all part and parsel of the day... have a good day you guys!

One of my many unanswered questions is, "How can none of our qualities unique, yet each mix of those qualities is fully unique?"

Think maybe we should start up Questioner's Anonymous?

I've worked a "Quality Assurance" department and find the shared acronym disturbing.

Anyhoo. . . Mostly a long-winded way of saying I often wake up with something that might qualify as, "jabbing thoughts." 'Tis a rough way to start a day.

Big hug for you Marky...… I can be really hard on myself as well..... When things like this really bother me I try to assess it by asking how would I feel if someone else did or said this and I am usually much harder on myself then on others...… Be kind to you sweetie.... You are a really good person and you deserve it.....xo

That happens to me when am in bed trying to fall asleep. I will feel guilty and shame sometimes. I have learned to pray and remember that I've forgiven already for all that stuff. It is hard to deal with and hard to push those thoughts out of my head. Sometimes I will journal about stuff and that releases my mind of those thoughts.
