waking and greeting the day

I had strange dreams last night, a common dream that I have that haunts me for some reason.

I am with people from different stages in my life but for some reason I still have a project or projects

in college that I haven't completed and there's urgency to complete them. I was with an 'ex' as well

this time, who was stressing about things. I also was in a lovely apartment that I was afraid of losing.

I did have a project in real life at the end of University that I didn't get done without outside help

a year after my graduating class graduated. I passed in reality by the skin of my teeth - it all happened

when I was very sick at the outset of my illness and I was struggling.

I woke up and felt like the world hated and I knew that was not true and I shook it off. I fell back to

sleep and then felt a sense of starting my day with a blind spot that was my identity. I looked in the mirror

and was surprised that 'that was me!' - it's weird but I took just the steps of the day to get out of the house

and get a coffee at the bakery - and the lady there greeted me - which both surprised me a little and felt good too.

I came back home and just felt so grateful. Grateful for the walk, grateful for the coffee - and grateful that

it's Greek Easter and I'll celebrate today. I feel like I am on the sea foam of life a little - unknowing and just

keep on doing what I need to do. Windows are open and the cool morning air is filling the room while the gray

sky just kind of buffers the whole landscape. I feel like praying but more so I feel like hugging my friends.

I guess this entry is kind of 'different' - put one foot in front of the other...and soon you'll be walking out the door.

Confusion but gratitude.. Christos Anesti! Indeed his is Arisen! :)

My inner gypsy dream interpreter hopped up to declare, *You! ! ! are the unfinished project from your university days, Kiddo. That degree is only a building block in the building of your life.

"That'll be fifty bucks, Gadjo."

Amen.
