VISTS WITH BRUCE
WOW!!!
I can not believe how things are going. Now that I have been at ST. MARY'S for a few weeks things are changing in all parts of my life. Bruce (Hubby) is calming down. Last weekend we had a longer visit we just sat outside in the shade on a lovely fall day, I sat with my feet in his lap and we talked about "normal" things it was great. The next few times he came in it went the same.
For years we seemed to only talk about dr's how I or he was feeling or my care that was not being done or how I was getting worse. He is feeling better his chest pains have gotten better. So that is good news as well.
I think about this and I feel GREAT

I am so happy for you both. It sounds like you are \"settling in\" and finding your cozy spot. Now that your hubby is getting used to things, you can both spend the time you have together just enjoying each other and not worrying about the things you can\'t do anything about. Gentle hugs and calm hearts.
Hello Kayce, I\'ve read your Journals and it\'s so sad everything you are going through but yet even with every thing you are going through you are finding things to be happy about :))) You are really a inspiration and just don\'t know how you are handling everything but you are and that\'s great!!!! I hope you have better days ahead where your health improves greatly :)))) Happy Weekend hugssssssssss,
CountryGal
I think that\'s AWESOME that things are going well..... especially with hubby. I\'m guessing it almost feels like you are both falling back into love again. Not that you weren\'t before, but after being married for so long, we fall into a rut of a daily routine and dealing with just crap. Too many times we take advantage of our spouse and forget how we ended up together in the first place. I\'m glad things are going well for you, and just look at how the changes are affecting you... I\'m proud of you!!
I\'m glad your visits with Bruce are coming along well. What you are going through is such a life changing event, that it is more than reasonable to expect difficulties accepting the change. I must say that your journal is full of hope and strength. I\'m very impressed by the amount of strength you have shown in the life\'s adversaries you have been given. I think about you daily, and only hope that you continue to have the strength and determination to continue to be strong. Your journals are so inspiring, and full of encouragement for us that do not have the challenges that you do. Thank you for that. I look forward to your next...Lynne
Thanks everyone for the comments. I have been sitting here thinking that I have been handling thing badly, because there has been days when I was upset and crying most of the day. My counceler has been telling me, she would be more worried if I did not have days when I got upset and bcried. I am not sure what she means. I know I have felt better since I found this site and put my feelings down and the support I have received
thank again
awwww, I bet you do cry. I would cry too. You are at a very new period of your new change in life - it\'s no wonder you are confused and scared. I\'m glad to hear you have a counselor. It\'s open and honest that you don\'t know what it means that she would worry about you if you didn\'t cry or was upset, so that is a good thing. I don\'t know what it means myself, but hopefully through your continued journaling, we all will go down this path with you. Also, hopefully together with a strong counselor and your hubby, together as a team, you all will work through this lot in life you have been given. I am not a particularly religious person, but I will include you and your family in my prayers. I know you will find the strength somewhere to handle all of this. You are a strong woman.
