Video Vault: Yale stuns Minnesota in NCAA Hockey Tournament
I'm not putting this up to run Golden Gopher fans ragged, to them I say this was incredibly unlucky and your team will be back in force next season. The WCHA as a college hockey power will continue to be so.
I'm only putting this up because it made me say, wow.
Yale was not given a chance in this game. Nor should they have been, being seeded 15th overall in the draw (yes, I know, only the top four are formally seeded, but you can work the rest out if you know who the No.1 overall seed is. Just ask me if you'd like it explained.)
And yet...March Madness, apparently, is not limited to just basketball. This clip is the entire overtime, all nine seconds of it. It's the fastest extra time finisher in NCAA tournament history.

As if that wasn't enough, Yale then zapped North Dakota 24 hours later, creating a strange Frozen Four this year: Quinnipiac, St. Cloud State, Yale, UMass-Lowell. Not the last four most analysts would have anticipated when the college season started.
