Video Vault: Traveling Wilburys -- Rattled
In music, "supergroups" are really just collaborations of artists or groups who normally don't work together on a project. Some last longer than others. Here's a number from the '80s supergroup Traveling Wilburys, "Rattled".
Most people familiar with this group have heard their Volume 1 album. One day while browsing in a now-defunct Borders I saw a compilation that included tracks from Volume 3, which leads me to believe that somewhere out there are two more albums from this collaboration.
The five men who teamed up to form Traveling Wilburys need virtually no introduction for classic rock fans: George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and Jeff Lynne, who sings lead here. (I believe each member of Traveling Wilburys got to do lead on at least one song at some point.)
