Video Vault: Steely Dan -- Do It Again
I heard this song on the radio on this morning...it's pretty catchy, actually. Music like this isn't produced much anymore.
I've been told this Steely Dan number, Do It Again, is from 1972...not certain about that, but probably right because the video clip is from a performance the band made on the US series Midnight Special one year later. The video is from the program, but the sound is the original studio recording.

(Fun fact: Michael McDonald, who was a sideman for Steely Dan at the time playing keyboards, later took over as frontman for the Doobie Brothers.)

That is a good song, It seems to have a good message to it too about not giving up. I would say it is from the 70\'s also simply because of his bell bottom jeans and big hair. That seemed to be the trend back then.
