Video Vault: Longplay: Burning Force (Genesis)

Not really ready to put my thoughts into public tonight so I'm going to try to entertain with this.  Here's a longplay of the Genesis (Mega Drive) version of Burning Force, one of my favorite games growing up as a kid.  I still stink at it, and one of my brothers was only able to beat it once by using a cheat code that gave you ten ships at the start and for each of the three continues you were allowed.
This arcade version of this, as with a bunch of other arcade titles at the time, was only released in Japan because it was deemed too hard for North American gamers.  And hard it was; in the arcade version you could away with crashing into enemies or obstacles but one enemy shot was all it took to take you out.  The Genesis version made things a tiny bit easier by allowing three hits before your ship went out, but it's still a difficult game and especially in the later rounds as you'll see here; it's a brutal game to 1 credit clear.
This is not my longplay, but the big reason it's up here is for the music, which was excellent for this title.  I feel the arcade soundtrack was a bit better on the whole but I can't seem to find it now, so we'll just have to go with this.
