VIdeo Vault: Concentration UK, 1990 Episode
Okay, so I was slow bumping that last entry down...of course, yesterday I was cranky and totally gone because my sleep pattern has been so busted up lately...
...but anyway, here's something different. This is an episode of the UK version of Concentration that aired in 1990. You will find some similarities to the second format of US Classic Concentration, along with some differences. Among the notable differences: The end game is played for a trip, not a car; and instead of two Take cards (red and green), there is only one along with a yellow Swap card, which allowed the player to exchange one prize for a cash amount chosen from a set of envelopes. The cash awards were notoriously cheap, but keep in mind that cash prizes were regulated heavily by British law at the time.
