Vacation Shopping tips
So I'm going on vacation for the first time soon. I've never been to the beach or seen the ocean. I used to have a horrible paralyzing fear of water and drowning. My bf somehow cured me of this last year. So this vacation will be a huge step for me, a big accomplishment.
We are very thrifty so we are doing this as cheap as possible. We reserved our hotel room back in March, only $64 a night. We used this site called Groupon to get vouchers for places to eat and stuff to do much cheaper than normal. We went to the big fancy pants Goodwill's in the city where all the rich people live. Scored multiple swim suits for .99 cents on .99 Sundays. I have horrible experience shopping at reg stores for everything because I am too tall and too curvy, plus new stuff costs too much. I scored a maternity tankini, extra length means it covers my long torso. It was brand new from Dillard's, still had tags and panty shield in it! Wow! My bf got 3 swim trunks that fit perfect. We saved enough to splurge on a nice new cooler and beach umbrella. I can't wait for vacation. I need one so bad. We saved so much on trip I won't feel guilty either. I just have to bring money for gas to drive there. Everything else is paid ahead.

Nothing like Vacation! Have a great time!!
Nothing like thrift stores--I go to them all the time. I try to go to the thrifts in real good neighborhoods, since wealthy people get rid of better clothes! Swimsuits for 99 cents, can't beat that---now go and buy one in Macy's--at least $100.00 there. Use the savings for some drinks and a great meal! Have fun!
Congrats on the deals and on the coming time off! I hope the beach is a relaxing atmosphere and that none of the anxiety gets in the way. I really hope you have amazing memories from this vacation :D
