Vacation - not

I've been on vacation. I went to Vermont to visit my son.  But the vacation was interrupted by calls from work.  When I was drinking, I would probably have been drunk or hung over.  But this time, when work called, I was clear headed.  Maybe I was no better able to fix the work problem, but at least I was sober.  I don't have to feel guilty about alcohol effecting my response to work.
