ups and downs, together and apart

I had a good zoom meeting with my family today.

We generally do that every Sunday morning at 9am PST.

I really felt pretty clear about stuff

before, during, and after, and indeed, I still do.

One thing I realized, after then spending some time with my Dad and Stepmom,

at their house later in the day, came after I returned home from visiting

and encountered something that derailed me a little bit.

The derailment made me succumb to those feelings of (to put it in metaphor) 'dejection

of having made a few good puts on the green and then for some reason losing

my mojo and loss of that once held sense of accomplishment.'

It happens to all of us - and as much as we might want to - we can't stay

on top of our game all the time...no perfect...'tis unachievable....

Even so though, we can build up our confidence to keep on keeping on

and try again...for excellence!!!

So that's where I am at.

Just finished watching the FEDEX cup and feel

great for Rory McIlroy.

Now I'll get ready for bed...That's one thing that I have also realized here too

is that we may have to be flexible to the vicissistudes of life that leave us feeling dejected...

but if I keep to my routines and schedules..I don't allow my dejected mood to overtake me

and derail me from getting stuff done. :)

peace and namaste... :)

Oh that dejected stuff. We mustn’t let it keep us in the low valleys.

I was feeling the steamroller of downtrodden despair today as winds blew and clouds rolled in, metaphorically and literally. But surely there’s something to keep
The mind focused on better things.

Glad you had a good family call and visit today. Here’s to a good week ahead

I now see it as peaceful time. It's not easy to explain, however, I have found that using the same tools and technique that bring joy, also bring tranquility as my brain quiets down from the excitement moment to the allowing the body to come to a rest and peace within.

The difference in using that approach is the depression lessens naturally, and it's comforting to have the silence, the quiet, and the peace to be natural.

You're gaining so much in all you are doing, here's to your success in moving through the balancing of the feelings in a way that works effectively for you!
