Updated Vitamin Schedule

I'd finally found a chart that tells me WHAT vitamins I need to take and how much, as well as what is too much, which foods will give me which vitamins, and what will deplete which vitamins.(For example, stress and caffeine lower a lot of vitamin levels). This info, along with much more, can be found in Linda Ojeda's book "Menopause Without Medicine".  I need to point out that I devised the following schedule for ME. If you are considering adopting it, take a copy to your doc and get an ok first, since you might be taking medication that would not be compatible with what I take, and/or you might have a condition -such as diabetes- that needs to be considered.   I also list brand names, none of which I directly endorse solely. If you prefer another brand that gives you the same doses, go for it. But do try to buy time release whenever possible, and always take the supplements after a meal.  While I have not had a Bad Episode since I started the following schedule 11 days ago, at the same time I also adopted some life changes, which I shall list describe in my next journal entry.   I am also on the lowest dosages of Vivelle Dot (estrogen) and Prometrium (progestin), so for the record, I'm not relying on vitamin supplements alone to alleviate my menopausal symptoms.   MORNING:           Gentle Iron 28 mg (Nature's Bounty)                               has:  Vitamin C: 60 mg                                       Folic Acid: 400 mcg                                       Vitamin B12:  8 mcg                                       Iron: 28 mg                         Balanced B-100 (Nature Made)                               has:  Thiamin (B1): 100 mg                                       Riboflavin (B2): 100 mg                                       Niacin: 100 mg                                       Vitamin B6: 100 mg                                       Folic Acid: 400 mcg                                       Vitamin B12: 100 mcg                                       Biotin 100 mcg                                       Pantothenic Acid: 100 mg                          Vitamin E 200 IU (CVS)  NOONISH:             Selenium 200 mcg (Nature's Bounty)                          Magnesium 250 mg (Nature Made)                          Calcium Ultra 600+ (CVS)                                has:  Vitamin C: 60 mg                                        Vitamin D3: 200 IU                                        Vitamin E: 15 IU                                        Calcium: 600 mg                                        Magnesium: 20 mg                                        Zinc: 7.5 mg                                        Copper: 1 mg                                        Manganese: 1  mg                                        Boron: 250 mcg NIGHTTIME:         Flaxseed 1000 mg (Trader Joe's)                         One-A-Day Women's 50+ Advantage
