SEVEN YEARS!!!
Had a rough April 12th (as always) day of my accident,
Was offered a full time job at my work, because I was beat
out by senority by a co worker for the full time daylight job
I declined.
Kept trucking with school and the workout!
Ate chocolate on Easter!!!
May
GRADUATED WITH MY BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN NURSING!
Ended therapy (for now) with my therapist, she felt I was ready to
give up my monthly sessions and come back every three months instead
for follow up/catch up visits!
Talked to my lawyer and former JPO about expungement because it had been 6 months since I filed for it...

Which Brings me to JUNE...
I am settling into my new role as a post Bachelors graduate, I am optimistic about the future and am ready for action.  I have decided to continue my education and go for my Nurse Practitioner.
I have continued my workout, not everyday like the first six weeks but I am trying not to get fat (since I quit smoking) and feel good about my body!
I am awaiting my expungement (STILL) but I can wait.  Dare I say that.. the family was notified and it put it on a slight hiatus (hence, the I had to wait the whole six months).  But I have come to realize, If I cry and dread every April this much and have for the past seven years, have flash backs and terrors.. maybe so do they?!?
I bet every holiday sucks (mine do), SOMETIMES it is just a regular day and it hurts like hell
every birthday and anniversary, fathers day you name it..
they are thinking about him not being there.. they are missing him.
So yeah I suppose I can wait a little longer for this.
WHEN IT IS MEANT TO HAPPEN IT WILL. EVERYTHING IS THAT WAY.
I can honestly say I am the closest I have ever been to forgiving myself, if I haven't already made it there.  It is just hard to believe, I don't think I will ever truely entirely, but I don't feel that I am meant to.
I feel strong today, that is why I wrote today.
My birthday is on Thursday, I will be 25.
I have a follow up appointment with my Dr. to check the cysts on my kidney on Monday,
and I am planning on calling my lawyer back in July had I not heard anything but I am okay.
I feel as though things will fall into place as the previous have.  With honesty, hard work and hope you can heal.

Additions: I have had slip ups on the smoking(lets be honest).

I cannot further my education (apply for schools) until I get my expungement as well as get a new job in hospital like I want.

My dad and sister have been up and down these last few months, I focused alot of my energy on myself so their sagas were minimal.

I still worried about them but on a lighter scale.

and I still have my wonderful anxiety, but she is much lighter now too.
