Update on my life
I haven't written in my journal for awhile so decided to write something while I waiting for my floors to dry.....Well where to begin just hasn't been a good month for me at all, still trying to keep my head above water at the moment. Continuing to save for my trip back to Kentucky next month I am going to buy the airline tickets, the prices keep going up and down so hopefully when I get ready to buy they will down a bit... My mother's sister died last Monday, her brother died in 2005 she only had one brother and one sister. She found out that 4 of her arteries are 90% blocked during the time her sister was ill, so don't believe she has had time to figure out what she is going to do about that, she is 80 and hates being put to sleep and has only had one operation in her life. I told her it was really up to her what she wanted to do as I would stick by her whatever she decided. Then my ex husband. My first husband and father of my children commited suicide two weeks ago. As far as I can tell he hung himself while in jail. I felt so bad for the kids. I know they proably had a thought as some day he would come around and try to form a relationship with them. Now that hope is gone. He wasn't a very good father and after we got divorced he didn't really see his kids all that much. I hated the fact that he had unlimited access to the kids and didn't take advantage of that, but I wasn't going to be one of these people that keeps the father away from the kids whether he paid child support ot not. I didn't want to be blamed for that later in life. It is times like this that I regret living so far away from my family even though all I can do is be a support to my Mom and kids at this time. Not a good month at all, but on the up side the sun is shining at times and when it stops raining I am going to get out and do some yard work. One of Peter daughters is coming for a visit in June (she lives in Canada) and we have a friend that went to America and Married a American girl is home for a visit. We went out last Friday and had a very good time and hopefully will see them again this week before they go home on Monday. I have started with spring cleaning Oh my!!!! I just get tired of thinking about all I have to do. The whole place really needs painting but going to wait until we get back from Kentucky for any major work to the house. I am hoping to get enough money to remodel the kitchen this year and maybe get the bedroom staighten out which just needs some plastering and a coat of paint...That won't be too bad so I think at this time..LOL I think if I can just keep the weeds from coming into the house I will be doing good this year. LOL Hope everybody is doing good and would love to hear from you.
