Update on IVF results

Ok, I know I tell everyone to not POAS, so I am a total hypocrit, but my doc makes us wait 18 days, not 14!!!! And we knew, we just knew.  The symptoms have been so clear with me, this time and the last time we had a miscarriage (a year ago this weekend).

So I did it this morning, i POAS and it is a BFP.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8 dpt on a 6 day FET.  We are thrilled.
Please say a prayer for us as we are in the first trimester and I am just praying we don't have another miscarriage.
Thank you thank you thank you for all of your help and support. This was a very long road!

So for those looking for hope, here is my story.  I have endometriosis.  we wanted to start trying 4+ yrs ago, but I was not yet diagnosed and my back pain from endo made me think a pain free pregnancy was not possible. They had diagnosed the back pain as a slight herniated disc, and if I lifted 10 lbs my back would go out on me a lot of the time. If I twisted in the torso it was even worse! I thought if I got pregnant, I would be on bed rest and in excruciating pain the whole time.
so after some time of trying to fix the problem (PT, cortisone shots to my spine, countless dr apps and MRI's), we realized that my biological clock was ticking and it was now or never.
So we tried, and I thought I was pregnant, but when my period started, I just thought I was wrong. But bled for over 2 wks and was diagnosed with a miscarriage.  i bled over 3 months, fast forward, it was an ectopic pregnancy and I was diagnosed with endo and lost my rt tube in the process.  Then I started seeing a fertility specialist. It was devastating to hear that my lft tube was also compromised by the endo, so they had to remove it (large tubes cause miscarriages, it wasn't blocked, just stretched) this last October...leaving me with IVF or nothing. The good news is that my back pain decreased with each lap (1 D&C, 2 laps, and 1ER in 9 months time! I was under all the time!).
it was so hard, others said "well, you never really stop trying to have a kid" and I was like "well, either I am trying (IVF) or I am not."
fast forward, one failed cycle and one FET did the trick.  I promise to also publish my symptoms tracker and what I did different this cycle to hopefully help others.  thank you again for your amazing support in such a difficult year.

Thank you!! I slept a lot today and could sleep some more. :-) Your well wishes are so overwhelming and bring a tear to my eye. With my first IVF cycle the thought of getting pregnant made me sad because I felt that there were so many other DS sisters who so deserve a baby. In the second cycle, I realized that it\'s silly talk, there\'s room for all of us to get our BFP. So I wish each of you who are waiting for one to get one very soon. 2013 is a lucky year, I can just feel it. Love and hugs.

Congratulations! Your story gives me hope on so many levels. I also have chronic low back pain and had stopped ttc for a couple of years as I thought my back couldn\'t handle it. Only recently ive herd that eno can cause it. Going for a lap tuesdy

Thanks for sharing this! It really does give me hope. I didn\'t realize how similar our experiences were prior to diagnosis. My pain was also attributed to a back injury, and I remember having the exact same fears about pregnancy. Thanks again for sharing and huge congrats!
