UPDATE ON DAUGHTER
THE DEMON CAT HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT THE PREMISES AS OF YESTERDAY....SIGH!! MY CAT IS SO...MUCH MORE RELAXED AND FOR THAT MATTER SO AM I. MY DAUGHTER HAS ONE MORE SMALL LOAD OF THINGS TO GET AND THEN SHE IS ALSO COMPLETELY OUT. SHE STAYED AT HER APARTMENT LAST NIGHT. I SAW HER BRIEFLY YESTERDAY AND SHE ACTED LIKE NOTHING HAD HAPPENED...TYPICAL!! HOWEVER, I SPOKE VERY LITTLE AND WHEN I DID I WAS DEFINITELY VERY COOL.
I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR SUPPORTIVE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS. I DO WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT I AM WELL AWARE THAT I CAN EASILY BE AN ENABLER TO HER NEGATIVE BEHAVIOURS. AND IT WILL NOT BE THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE HAD TO CUT MY TIES WITH HER JUST TO KEEP MY SANITY AND TO TEACH HER RESPONSIBILITY. I ALSO WANT TO CLEAR UP A MISUNDERSTANDING REGARDING MY HUBBY AND WHY HE DOES NOT DEAL WITH OUR DAUGHTER. IT IS A VERY...LONG AND SAD STORY THAT GOES BACK ABOUT 12 YEARS. I WILL NOT GO INTO IT RIGHT NOW PERHAPS SOME OTHER TIME. BUT TRUST ME WHEN I SAY HE JUST CAN'T GO THERE.
I AM FEELING A BIT BETTER BUT OF COURSE NOT GREAT. THIS WILL TAKE TIME FOR ME TO HEAL AND HAVE YET ANOTHER SCAR. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT. DEBBIE

Kids! You can love them but they sure can drive you crazy! I have a difficult one, too. Must be one in every family.
Don\'t worry, it is over now. Things will go back to being quiet and more relaxed....and keep telling yourself that her behavior is her problem not yours. I understand now about your husband not doing more, I can\'t blame him if she has caused problems before, it would just make matters worse, not better. But anyway, it is over now. Sounds like your daughter has gotten over being crappy and is goig back to being normal. Put it in the past as soon as possible, but keep thinking tough love. By the way when I was reading about the demon cat, I thought you were talking about your daughter for a minute...LOL

Sometimes we love to much and let our eyes get fogged. You are doing the right thing by making her get out on her own. It is a rough thing to have to go through because regardless of all the defiance you do love her. I\'m glad your baby\'s are free to roam about again. I\'m sorry for Hubby\'s feeling too. It is so hard sometimes dealing with children. You want so much for them and sometimes it just doesn\'t happen. The only thing I ever told my kids was don\'t ever call me from jail, thankfully that never happened. They all went through their rebellious times, except Kelly, for some reason I had a perfect kid, snotty but good. I Hope home in a week or so things will be better for you and Hubby and the pets.
