Update: Joy, worry, and life in general
It has been since last year that I have written in my journal so a general update seemed like a good idea.
I had my baby girl in May she is a precious gift from God as my husband and I had given up on having more children. In fact I had given away all of our baby stuff, cribs, clothing everything then I learned I was preganant! It was such a blessing, my life wasn't going well and she gave me something to look forward to.
A lot has happened in the past year, not only having a baby but also my father let us finally help him. He had bascially given up on life and was slowly drinking himself to death. My sister and I finally got him to allow us to help. So we cleaned up his room which was filthy and gross, and got him in to see a doctor for his copd and his skin cancer. We had some problems with that as he has no health insurance or money to pay for doctor visits. Eventually we were able to get him on some insurance for people who can't afford any. He is very resistant to taking his copd medication but will take his thyroid medicine and his antidepressent. His ear will need surgery at ucDavis as it is to far gone for the local hospital to handle it. So he is doing better for the most part.
I have been trying to do better this time around post pregnancy. After I had my son 5 years ago I kind of went off the rails. I was tired and hormonal, plus I had a stomach pain. I was sure I had some form of cancer and was going to die. I am trying to do better, I haven't freaked out when my stomach and pelvis has hurt. I have been having ovary pain, now I know I have cyst on both my ovaries that can kind of be painful during certain times of the months. So I can only assume that the reason my ovaries are hurting is because of the horomones that are flucuating. On my left side I have been having some pain but the weird thing has been my pubic bone on the left side has been hurting as well, it almost feels like a bruise but it hasn't gone away like a bruise would have. I have tried not to let my imagination run away with me because it always goes to one place and that is that any and all pain is directly leading to cancer of some form or another.
I am so blessed so I am trying to be grateful. Thankful for all God has given me.
