Update
Sorry I haven't been around for a while but I'm back. Things are pretty much the same for me, still taking tegratol and pain still doesn't want to completly go away. My neurologist thought it might be a good idea to have a 2nd MRI. I haven't made the appointment yet, I don't know why or maybe I do........I'm scared they might find that I have a tumor or MS!!! I'm going to make the appointment soon though. Anyways it is what it is, this is what I have to deal with for the rest of my life TN doesn't go away and it can't be cured. So I have to live with this f_ _ _ed up disease! I don't know if karma is real but if it is I must have done something really bad, right?

Hello friend. Hate it you are feeling crummy. After all the meds that are "supposed " to help I have gone through and my sodium 2x so low , I was hospitalized for the first bout. That was with Tegratol. My neurologist sent me to a neurologist that suggested MVD. My MRI didn't show the vessel that was on the trigeminal nerve and creasing it. With your courage to fight this monster make your appointment with a neurosurgeon and let him take a look at your MRI examine you and give you options. I have been through many emotions of dealing with the horrific pain and I empathize with you. Keep your chin up and you can do this❤️
