Upbeat busy

Been very busy. Between our trip which was great oh does Destin Fl beaches are so beautiful. Lived in Fl 3 years and never went there. The water is so beautiful and the white soft sand. We wfill be going back there. Ann sorry no time to meet up. First we stopped in Birmingham,Al to see the grand kids ( Ken). Had so much fun and felt we built some bridges. They are even talking about coming up here next monthh. Be an answer to prayer. Nest we went to Destin for a couple days the headed for Daytona to see ken oldest daughter.  We had a big surprise as we were driving over it was Bike Week and we had not made reservations.  Cheapest we found close to Daytona was 300.00 and a days limit.  Finally we found one about 50 miles away for 130.00 grabbed that one. Then went on to see Pam and family. Had a grt evening bad part her hubby had to work so i suggest we meet for breakfast. We did we drove 50 miles down and 50 miles back put another 100 miles on our trip but worth it except we were really tired as we drove closer to home.   Stopped a little earlier than planned but we still got home in time to get baby girl at the boader.    All in all ae great trip.  Then it has been almost no stop since we got home with lots of rain.  Between birthday all month. Wedding showers. Baby showers. Easter coming. Well it has been just busy.   Some saddness having dinner with the kids and Ken not there but sure he was watching. And helping fix things. Well, his wife will be getting married this month on the 30th. Felt that a bit strange out of all the days of the month she picks the day the 30th different month but i just feel a bit well that's her. We did not see her which made me just as happy. She always puts a damper on things. Biggest news is her new husband to be has a son same age as Ken and her's. Well she kick her own son out and moved new son in. Best for my grandson to be away from her. Like I said the time with the kids wa so good, one had to really notice how she put the damper on things. I am happy she is out of my life. The grandchildren are enough for me. 

Hope the holidays ahead we all find some peace and remember that our loved ones that of course we miss so much are having a bigger celebration then we can imagine. love to you my Ken and my mom' who continue shows me support
