Up date on me Its serious, Im trying to get out of it all
This was my situation regarding housing and flats from hell as well as landlords to fit it. I do wish there was a non councile run place or places who can help me even by giving me a place of some fsort to live in in The lothians. Please read on
I dont wnat this to get into the hand or ears of the langlordor even the one im qurrying on here as I dont want any more grief than what Im going through just now. My concern is about the likely hood of a longlord not registerd as that could putme in a veery dicey situation. I have been in such before .
Prevention is better than a cure I dont what to be put in that situationagain. My reason for telling you this is that today some one was with me who brought me to your office to get my housing benefit set up for a flat near by. I gave you the Address of it when i was there yesterday .It was 3 hours later than when we arived.
With my experience of langlord even how thye treat their propery and tenanst gives cause of alarm big time. To give you a sumed up picture of my situation. I was in a house fire in my old Edinburgh flat that was a private let too. I wa there prior to the fire for 4 years.
I went into the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for 3 days with smoke in hairlation. On the 3rd day I was put in to temporary accomidation by Edinburgh City Council homeless team. Moving to others since them for valid reasons. There is some thing I was told not to tell you but Its clear to me that its best that I do.
Please dont say any thing about this when we meet but I have been told what ti say and not say. I have to protect my self. I kept the email address of the langlord who is the guy that is bringing me today. Some of whta I will say is what I was told to say. Dont make it dificult for me please. The langlord got me to sign the lease before I entered your office building. It was loike tring to dump me in to the same situation that Im already in or worse .
He gave me a one bedroom flat in Drive Glasgow on the 15th of March htis year. All went fine with the rent. Then around 2 weeks ago he gave me a 2 bed flat in Glasgow . Thats where the issues bagan.
I got a leter just last week asking the longlord to give a valid addres to the housiong office in the area. I texed him on this then on Friday past he cam e to me saying he is not registered to as he put take on DSS tenants. Then he offere me a studio flat in Paisley and has it pland for me to go there move in on the 20th of this month i think.

The owner is not him but they know each other so this makes me wander if that guy is regisrered too. This is my reason for this email. It is for you to check & se if the other langlord is registered. I have both leases but when I come there you will understand why can can only show you the Paisley flat lease.
Im realy not sure where to turn as regard my and a sucure place to live. At present Im living in Linden Street rent free butnot by choice. I have no frends who will help me. Some are dead. Most of my family are dead as are my parents. The rest is another storry.. I could not afoird the rent if I chose not to take the flat In Paisley but bby by the same token if the langord for that property is not registered then he is not legaly entiitled to hound me for the rent. He should not be if that is the case.
The reason I was given the 2 bed flat was so my epileptic friend in Edinburgh who self harms and over dose takes coulsd as he wants to live with me but there are temorary complex things preventing this and he does not trust my present langlord, I will say that this langolrd does not take care of all needed fauts and repairs etc as they bady need done even in the previous flat.
Please pas this on to who ever and also to who can help me as wel as to the person we will be speaking to when we get there this morningor near to but I beg you use discresion in bist of this. Please. I feel I need to be talking to many people fast. I dont know whaere Im going to end up or any thing. Im not sure I want to be in Glasgow or Paisly..
