Can you believe that I have been arguing with the Heart Doctor Office to look at my EKG...they deny that my back doctor has sent it to them and they have 3 times...and they will not set me up any test until I come in to see him on the 30th...I am freaking mad...
Then to beat all where I had the test ran is across the hall from the heart doctor...if they don't call me early in the morning that I can came in and they will read the EKG, I am going to go pick the report up and hand deliver it to their office....probably 15 steps...between the two...it is really upsetting me...If it is just a mistake on the EKG than they could run another one to see...but refusing to help at all and I can't and of course won't have surgery until I get a clear on my heart....I really don't understand being treated this way at all...
I finally to the heart nurse that this is not some elective surgery I am having that I am barely able to walk and I need the back surgery done or will be in a wheel chair shortly.
I had not planned going back to this heart doctor because of his treatment when i was there in Oct...but right now I am sorta stuck ...so I have ended up calling my MD to see if they can set the test up....Stupid Heart doctor knows I have Heart Failure so if something else is wrong, he should at least care enough to run some test to find out....

Oh Sandi ~ I hope you can get the EKG results from this doctor and then run like mad to find a more compassionate, competent cardiologist!
How frustrating and upsetting all of this must be ~ please do keep fighting for your rights as an informed patient/consumer so you can get the necessary surgery and treatments in place for your heart failure.

So frustrating all the way around - agree with Debbie, maybe time to get a different heart doc. if they are that inefficient. After all, you ( your insurance ) are paying their salary,,,,isn\'t that the way the American health service works?

Good grief!! That is enough to make a preacher cuss!! I hope you will pick up your test results and find another cardiologist pronto!! That so called doctor is not what you need. Being in pain myself, I can certainly feel your frusteration. Keep us informed of your progress. (((HUGS)))...Julia
