Two Years eight months

Here is an update since about six months ago. A lot has been happening. I have been rather busy. First of all four months of volunteer work at two Oregon State Parks from July to November. Now we are volunteering in San Martin California at the Wings of History, airplane museum. Warm sunny California, Bah! I have been dealing with frozen pipes and temperature around 27 degree F.
One big change: We have been preparing for the eventuality that I may have to stop driving. I had a shop trailer full of my tools. These are part of my persona. I can't imagine life without being able to create things that I imagine. Things like bicycles and furniture and maintenance on the motor home. Since August we have been moving everything from a trailer that we pull with the motor home to a Sprinter Van that becomes our towed vehicle and my shop. We have eliminated the trailer and driving along behind with a car. For now we will share the driving of the motor home. If I have to stop driving then my wife will take over.
This gives me mixed feelings. Facing up to the possibility that I will have to rely more and more on others is difficult. Creating a bran new shop from scratch, however, has been exciting. It is turning out very nice.
