Two Weeks
I have now taken Azilect for two weeks now. Today I changed dosage to 1 mg per day. I still haven't experienced any side effects.
I believe that I do not have quite the tremors in my hands in the afternoons. I attended a music jam this afternoon and I felt more confident in my guitar strumming when playing at faster tempos. I had discovered that it was hard to keep up with up-tempo songs before starting Azilect. My right leg still bounces out of control when I must concentrate on the music. My best strategy to combat that is to stand and do the wandering minstrel act. It keeps my feet involved.
I am walking four to six miles a day. We are currently located near Phoenix so I am getting lots of sunshine vitamin D plus I take 1000 iu of vitamin D supplement daily. My vitamin D level was 21 on a scale of 30 to 100.
