tuesday morning

it's Tuesday morning. I woke up around 4am..

and then made coffee and drank it in bed!:)

Blue has been very meow-y this morning..so I have been as attentive

to him as possible. I took a shower and dressed.

Then I made my big morning meal (the usual lunch thing when I get home

from work but earlier today.) I think I am going to go for a walk.

I have a big challenge today and tomorrow. Very little food left

until Thursday. I don't want to use my credit card so I will have to show

some restraint. I can do it.

Sending prayers out to you guys and the whole world which seems like

we are going through extremely unstable times.

I've gotten up this morning with a real sense of unstructured time and kind of just
existing in it. I have started to think about going forward with my day, putting myself
mentally in any direction seemed like something just wasn't right about each potential choice.
But I thought back to what I wrote about yesterday. It's increased my sense of awareness
to what I am reacting to in a knee jerk kind of response. "Will I be 100% in love with the direction
I ultimately take?... in other words...Will it be perfect?"
And knowing the answer to that - as I wrote yesterday that I might like it at least a little - is giving
me clarity this morning and encouragement to not feel an imperfect choice is
something alarming... A friend once said to me "You know what you're signing up for.."
And also I have to say what my father has said to me "That we're each a complex of sides to ourselves"
I know I am not perfect and so perhaps I should have some humility here too and see that
I am signing up for something which is a complex of differing sides and a direction in life
has to be chosen and cultivated...and humbly accept the charge and not just avoided in a kind of shyness position.

thanks Nikki! I will try not to do it. I can stand to lose a little weight and I'll use that as inspiration!
I can use the very last of what I have in the fridge to stretch until Thursday.

It happens. I have used a credit card to carry through for groceries and if you have to, do it.

This is common for a lot of people. Not a deliberate sign of mental illness. It’s okay to use this stuff for basic human needs.
