My Dad is 96 next month, swims a mile 3 times a week, walks often and far.........and is getting a pacemaker tomorrow morning. I am a basket case. Tough for me to even BE in a hospital. Prayers, good thoughts, stand on your heads, whatever is needed to help my Dad get thru this please. Thank you.

Hi, my prayers antd thoughts are with you. I had my mom in the hospital a few weeks ago, we thought she was having a stroke but everything turned out fine. I know how devasting it is to go into a hospital, my mom was in the same hospital that my husband passed away in....brings Best of Luck, Donna

Hi! I will definitely pray for your Dad and you too! My Dad has been having a lot of health issues especially with his heart and needed cardiac catheterization about a month ago. I was scared to death too! I felt like \"I just can\'t take this!\" but all went well. He has had a pacemaker for about 10 years now and the procedure itself isn\'t bad so try not to be too scared. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers throughout the day. Sue
Your Dad is 96 and swims a mile?? I don\'t think I can do that!!! Wow - he must be in good shape, 96 or not!
Pacemaker operations today are a piece of cake. No biggie (really). He\'ll come through with flying colours and then ask when he can go swimming again!
Sending lots of hugs your way. It must be hard to walk back into a hospital. Keep your chin up. Will keep your dear Dad in my prayers (you too!)
