Tsunami of tears
I was having a pretty good night. I was on Facebook looking at pictures of Iysabella that Christina had just posted and I went too far in her album & the next pic was one of Christina and Ed. Here was his beautiful face staring back at me and I didn't expect it and I burst into tears! He was hugging his daughter and looked so handsome and was smiling sheepishly in that way Daddy's do when they hug their teenaged daughters...you know....like he was thinking "she's my little girl, but she's a young woman now." He looked so happy and HEALTHY! I will never be able to wrap my head around someone being perfectly healthy one minute and dead the next!! It is not humanly possible for me to reconcile this in my mind!!
So the river, no tsunami, of tears and pain is with me now. Its 2am & I can't sleep so I am here to let it out.
Bless you all for listening and understanding.
xoxo Linda

I\'m here....been up since before 2 myself. I\'m so sorry you\'re hurting tonight my friend. I understand. I care. I love you!
Cry that river of tears dearest Linda. Those take your breath away moments are just so surreal at times and I\'m sure to look at Ed in vibrant moment with his daughter is being felt SO very deeply by you.
You are not alone in the wee hours dear one and I\'m grateful that you could come here to share. My sleep as of late as been the pits too...
Love you and that precious son of yours, Ed. You could never have known Linda, that this would be the outcome for your beloved son.
Gentle hugs, Joanie
Your tears are tears of love and missing Ed. Memories are so sweet and yet can be so hard somtimes. Wishing you peace and joy. Much love Lynette
Tears of loss, memories emptiness but needed for emotional release and cleansing. Look to the sun and for smiles today. Hugs, PEggy
It\'s beyond us to understand the quick change from life to death. They are protected from long illnesses, years of wasting and weeping, but they leave us, shocked and saddened. This is our grief, like none other. Moms without their youngin\' . Love you, abby

I HATE TO SAY THIS I WISH MY DAUGHTER WOULD HAVE WENT REAL QUICK NO SUFFERING LIKE SHE DID. I,AM SO SORRY FOR EVERY MOM WHO HAS LOST AN ONLY CHILD OR ANY CHILD. BLESS YOUR ANGEL LOVE MARY ANN
Oh those punch-in-the-gut falling to your knees awash in tears, sadness and longing moments ~ they are so hard. It is incomprehensible how our kids can be here one minute and gone the next. No rhyme nor reason. I still get confused at times when I think \"it doesn\'t make sense ~ Corrie was at camp having fun with her campers and then she was gone.\" Just like that.
I\'m sorry seeing the picture of Ed and Christina threw you into that tsunami of tears but hope that the new day has brought renewal, refreshment and moments of peace and comfort as you rejoice in Christina\'s and Iysabella\'s sweet presences.
Sending much love and tight hugs of comfort and understanding ~ Debbie
Linda what complicated things memories and photos can be. We would be miserable without them (I think!?) but sometimes they are just too sad for words. Eddie was such a blessing and a dear friend. All that goodness, suddenly missing.
Much understanding and caring coming your way... raindrops, looks like raindrops.
Love, Sarah

Dear LindaE, we all know that feeling, like being kicked in the stomach or hit upside the head, when something comes so unexpectedly. And all that pain just comes pouring in again. I\'m with you. All we can do is feel the pain and the love that goes with it. What a treasure Eddie has been and is in your life. Love to you both, Linda J
Oh how I wish I lived next door and you could have banged on my door until I woke up! You shouldn\'t be alone with such deep sorrow in the middle of the night. Linda J said it well...kicked in the stomach. Grabbed by the heart and flung across the room. So much of life is unfair, painful, so much suffering, but in the next \"world\" there is JOY. Eddie is there. Trust that.
