Trying to train a dog
I thought I would share some of the things that is going on with my dog Molly and me. She is a wonderful dog and I got a good one with a good temperment( I just know I spelled that wrong) but just got off two 12 hour shifts and a little foggy that's my story and I am sticking with it....Anyway, Peter usually has to train me then I train the dog. I have been watching the Dog whisper(yes you can actually get that over here...So have been trying real hard to be the pack leader. So Molly has this problem with riding in a car. I think she thinks that if dogs were meant to travel in cars God would have given her wheels for legs...Anyway she gets all excited barks , whines, shakes and even once I had her in her crate taking her to the Vet., she actually pooped in the grate. Oh that was a nice one..... I have been trying real hard to get her used to the car because I would really like to take her places with me. She just gets too freaked out then I in turn get freaked out, then everything about being a pack leader I have learn form the Dog Whisper goes out the window. So am still tring to work on that. I have decide to breed her, and found a great stud dog. We went about 2 weeks ago to met the owners and dog that is going to father my dog pups. Great little dog and the owners are very nice also, she has decided that she wants one of the pups from the litter for the stud fee. I am hoping to get a show dog and get involved in all that side of owning a dog..... Peter has checked out the pedigree of both dogs. The only two West Highland Terriers that has ever won best in show at crufts both of the dogs some form that linage. Crufts is the worlds biggest dog show that happens in England every year and they have dogs come from all parts of the world. I think the year before last an American dog won. They have dogs in there that I didn't know existed....Well before I jump the gun so to speak and have my dog winning crufts, I really need to get Molly train to ride in the car. So I will keep trying....Now if we can finish the room that Peter took his birds out of, in order for Molly to move in there so we can have the bathroom back. I can't seem to get the pic up in order to show the pic on this post so I think I might have downloaded her pic to my pictures on the ds site if not I will so everyone will know what she is looks like......Have a great week.....
