Trying to live my best life

I am seeing this morning that with all the twists and turns my mind takes.... and shortcomings I have and positive too...I'm still trying to live my best life.

I'm trying to keep on keeping on

i love the brain plasticity theories. when i look at the intricacy of the neural pathways which are being discovered within that research, it becomes far less of a mystery how my mind can take such radical leaps between unrelated topics. it's all connected.

in case you aren't familiar with the theory:

I realize too that when I am around certain people in my life that very often I get a sense of feeling badly about myself..
and then get a sense of righteous indignation.... I questioned that indignation because I saw in the 'other' a way of life
that I was judging rather than just accepting that we both have our way of doing things. I feel and am motivated to keep
on keeping on with living my best life - and continuing to work to be successful in my way of life by taking care
and keeping at stuff.

great epitome, grasshopper.

inside my own psychoweirds, that righteous indignation is also a sign that i am once again comparing my insides to other people's outsides. i don't often feel that righteous indignation towards people i actually know intimate details about.

I have to say after dealing with this person yesterday and now having the day off, I am so going down a rabbit hole with questioning of who I am and how I’m living. Sending letters to the page ..,that’ it’s definitely time to take care of life, survival, and keep on keeping on. I’m definitely taking myself out to the museum in LA.

I've been there, although I don't tend to feel righteous indignation, only sadness when I feel that I don't measure up.

We all look at people through a distorted lens, based on our own experiences and expectations. I've found that when I stop comparing myself to others and start focusing internally, I become better at what matters the most, which is just being me. : )

"Keep on, keeping on," always reminds me of the quote attributed to Albert Einstein - "Life is like riding a bicycle; to keep your balance, you must keep moving."

Enjoy your time at the museum!

for my senses, the righteous indignation is a step up from only feeling sadness. the sadness motivates me to crawl into a hole and eat my heart out. righteous indignation carries a doubt that i really am inferior.

my aha moment on just how silly it is to compare my insides to other people's outsides came while i was in the midst of a psychotic break and a person i had never met before commented on how they wished they could be as happy as i am. appearances can be deceiving.

how did i miss that albert einstein quote? he is one of my heroes. he was even crazier than i am and made crazy look like a mighty fine trademark.
