Trying to get through, may be/|???

Have not been here in awhile. Having trouble typing. My symptoms are going nuts, way too many of them. I had the chemo July 5. Just started the 1000 mg/day IV steroids for three days. I am hoping I will get the same effects as last Sept. making the steroids work better. I am very tired I am sleeping allot & deeply. It is hard for the nurses to wake me up for my pills. I sleep for 8-10/night plus have to take naps during the day. I wonder if it is the humidity as I keep cool. I stay in most of the time in A/C when I go out I use my cool vest.    What ever this is, it makes my days a chore to get through. I still try to do things as I can but it is getting harder. I had to take July & Aug off of the phone lines at the sexual assault center (the volunteer work I do ) I am too tired. I barely use my pc anymore. Hoping when Sept. comes around I will be back to my old self.

I understand the heat issues and I hope that your strength returns and that the steroids give you the help they did last year. I think it was wise that you chose to take the break from the phone lines. Your body is needing the rest. Listen to it and get to feeling better. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Good to hear from you. How is Buce doing? I have lacked in supporting others, too much going on in my brain. It takes me over an hour to write a 15 min. journal. keep us posted...xxoo Diane

Even letting Sadie in and out in this 105 degree heat has taken a toll on me and I find myself sleeping a lot during the day. Just do what your body tells you and hopefully, everything will kick in soon and this summer heat will be over. At least we have our A/C unlike the poor wild critters who are left out in this stifling heat. I hope it ends soon for all our sakes.

Gentle hugs and joined at the heart, Linda
