Trying to bubble joy but for crying out loud
G.P. appointment went well, but she wants me to see a rheumy for the DM. She thinks my pain in upper left quadrant of abdomen is my pancreas. I managed to but off labwork, but I think I will call her and let her know I need to have the lab sooner than my other labs because...
Dr's appointment at 9:25 until 10:30. Then I went to Alice's (Erma's sister) as she fell last night and got stitches above her right eye and also had gotten "Erma" mail.
Ran to Oakhaven to pick up Erma mail (junk mail.)
Went grocery shopping. Leo met me in town and bought new printer and when I got home from shopping (12:15) I installed software for new printer so he could print postage for shipments.
Picked up Esther for meeting (1:08) I was late because software took so darn long. Got to church and ran around making arrangements for my absence with trip next week until meeting at 2pm. Cake and ice cream served after meeting (Debbie should not have eaten.)
3:30 p.m. Heading home with Esther in tow. Did not stop to get Esther's flu shot at Walmart because I had terrible abdominal pain. Dropped off Esther and tried not to get sick. Made it until I opened my car door in my driveway.
If you are squemish don't read the rest but know I am okay now.
Abdominal contents erupted from both ends all the way into the house and through the house to my bathroom. Now why I did not use "Leo's" bathroom by the back door is beyond my ability to understand.
After I was sure it was over, I showered, put on an adult diaper and fresh clothes, rinsed and then laundered clothing and soiled rugs, washed floors, finishing with a hosing down of the driveway, sidewalk, and back stoop.
Everything is washed, but I still feel stinky and dirty and want to cry. What is up with that? I suppose I will have to have the blasted labs tomorrow. I put supper in the oven and must put my possible smile or sneer on.
Pancreatitis will not make me quit my prograf? I hope not. The pain is only bad once in a while, and when I cough, and when I sneeze, and when I bend over.
I need a hug. Packers will need to win. Going for a bit of quiet time before Leo gets home. THIS BETTER NOT INTERFERE WITH MY TRIP NEXT WEEK!

Debbie,
It\'s so hard in the face of everything else not to feel good about the outside of your body. Why can\'t all that stay inside where no one, including you, can see it! Big hugs from me, too.
Years ago I had a very white kitchen(except for the terra cotta sink). White walls and cupboards where I put up my jams and jellies. Well, the blackberries didn\'t gell very well so I had blackberry syrup and one day I opened the cupboard and a quart jar (why didn\'t I put it up in pints?) of blackberry syrup fell out of the cupboard broke and went down the wall and into as well as down the cupboard and all over the floor. Sticky as the dickens. Ended up bleaching and repainting the walls, managed to get it off the cupboards and eventually got all of it out of the depressions in the sealed brick floor. Not at all the same , but just reminded me of that episode and the short time it took to make all that mess and the long time and exhaustion to clean it up. At least it smelled good (except for the bleach). More hugs. You are sweet inside and out as far as I am concerned. b.
I\'m so sorry Deb. How horrible for you.
I would sooner skip a doc appointment than labs; hate that pincushion feeling but anything can crop up for us without warning.
Hoping for a simple solution for you.
Larissa
And here\'s the HUG!
;)
Debbie Dear, Do you need something else to do? Seems your plate is full, and then you got sick like that. I certainly can relate to your situation. Had a similar situation yesterday. Only, without the problems from the upper part of my body. Thank goodness for the extra protection (undergarments).
I hope you did go for labs and get results quickly. Please let me know how the tests come back.
Here\'s a HUGE hug coming your way. Thanks for your encouragement and support, too.
Ollie
Thanks every one. I needed the loving. I was feeling a bit...untouchable. I will call and have her draw the amylase today. My Gray comes today for the weekend. Will have to wear diapers I guess, becuase I cannot afford another blow out.
