trying new ways to look at the cause and effect.
I was watching tv today after work. I also had an online therapy session today as well.
I found myself wanting a snack after lunch and so I went over to the Trader Joe's and picked
up some snacks but this time without any sugar, meat or dairy. I bought six Plumicots (new to me)
and then a tub of pitted dates. It's funny I think dates without the pits don't taste as sweet or flavorful as those
with the pits. Anyway, this was all a part of me trying to not eat processed sugar or alcohol or fattening
foods. The dates may be offensive to the diet since they are so naturally sweet - but perhaps this day
Friday will be my 'cheat day' for the entire week.
So I was watching tv and I found myself not really satisfied with what I was seeing. I mean, I just found myself
trying to force and force the enjoyment of the tely watching - and I chose to just turn it off -
I'll do my dishes in a moment and I think I should probably take myself out for a walk - even though I project in
my minds eye that it's a stressful thing - I think I'll challenge that thought and go for a walk and just let the good sunshine fall on my head and enjoy the fresh air. I'll get the mail too.

Plumicots? I’ll have to try that!
Questioning the dietary value of dates got me surfing. Dates bad for you? Apples are sweet, too, but bad for you? Is that even possible? But the surf soon reminded me of how little all those nutritional breakdowns mean to me. Back to studying ignorance for me. When I study a subject, it stays studied.
Of course they're sweeter with the pits. It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature.
Personally, I find great meditation value in those ho-hum chores. At least, telling myself that takes some of the drudgery out of it.
How pathetic is it that I know the owners of a plumcot orchard and still haven't tried one? I gotta fix that. . .
Plumicots are really good!
Dates I don’t think are bad for me I just think they’re probably fattening at least the way I eat them...Pac-Man!!’
