try and entertain yourself
I was sitting here - starting to go inward and gnarling away mentally
but then decided to go outside and enjoy the weather.
I know we all need things to entertain ourselves in our time off.
This time when the lack of action pointed me in the direction of going
inward, I stopped myself and realized that what I really wanted was something
entertaining. I went outside on the balcony and enjoyed the weather. I thought
about how I could lift weights, I thought about going for a walk..I thought
about looking forward to work tomorrow. If you do get bored, try and choose
something you actually like doing - rather than reflexively going inward.
I need to break that cycle and as Auntie Mame says "live, live LIVE!!"

but true to form, if you focus on entertaining yourself - if you're schizoaffective or bipolar - sometimes the
entertaining side of life can make you feel real high flying...:( oh for the love of balance and needing to shift
and adjust all the darn time.. :)
I may have my flaws, but being self responsible for my small world and my emotions
and my own entertainment are important to me. So I'll be reassured by just
taking care and keep on keeping on.
Today's a quiet day after all. Nothing great...But beautiful weather outside, windows
open
and I just ate the last meal of the day.
Sending prayers and good vibes.
Indeed I am grateful, If you guys need support please reach out and message me. I know taking care of yourself can be confusing and hard to keep positive about. You’re not alone.
I'm always looking for solution to what ails me, I think this journal is evidence
of that....I don't know if it's always possible to find an elegant solution - but perhaps
there's a positive attitude to take in the meantime - even when you're around a group
of people who seem to judge you because of past mistakes you've made -
you can probably still treat yourself with compassion (and strength) to keep on keeping on
in spite of the diss- grace of a moment. I'll go with that. peace.
life can be a roller coaster. In times of need 'focus on your strengths' :)
