Trouble with the nunz

I was wrestling with the 'fall out' from yesterday's dealing with the sisters.

it felt like I could do no right. This morning again I was setting up church and my heart was torn out from the last night's service. But then I started to see how each nun is struggling in their own way, I know 'we are all struggling' (as my real sister put it.) I thought just 'how each of us is handling our struggles.

The thought really put things into clarity and perspective not to take things personally.

To have understanding too that we each can only deal with so much.

You've certainly given me a new perspective on nuns - I guess I never thought of them as Real People, with normal problems.

I'm glad you are able to see the positives!

personally, if i can't take ^it^ personal, i don't take ^it^ at all. i leave ^it^ right where ^it^ fell. example: when a sibling-in-healing honors me with the sharing of their pain, i don't take ownership of their pain. ^it^ is not mine to sort. i offer them empathy and validation that they have what they need to figure ^it^ out for themselves.

at least. . . that's my goal and i'm sticking to it.
