Tough few days
Had a good morning yesterday. Went to doctor and was feeling okay. My A1C is way out of wack, so now Metformin is my new friend, too. Then, after doctor appointment I went grocery shopping. Right in the middle of the store, my eyes got foggy. Both of them. Couldn't see the items on the shelf at first. It gradually improved, but was bad for about 10 minutes. I blinked, I rubbed, I opened eyes as far as I could. I was fearful I wouldn't be able to drive home.
Stomach discomfort all night (thanks metformin) and overwhelming fatigue. Need to pull myself up and go out for a walk in the nice weather today, though I would rather roll in a ball and sleep. What's up with this??? My immune system coming back to haunt me?
I will be happy when I am back on an immunosuppressant and feeling stronger. Who'd have though I would ever have thought that.
Of course, life has been a soap opera again. My nephew was in a head on crash on Sunday. Fatality in the other car. Nephew is doing better and is stable now, but had a slow brain bleed, broken ribs with a punctured lung, and a broken thumb. Poor kid is a senior in high school and was on his way to work. He is a good kid and I fear for his health and the fall-out of the accident.
Cancelled my lunch out with friends, so I best try to be productive here at home. I am sure fearful that my strength will not be here next week for vacation. ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Working on swinging my mood around. My SIL posted Grayson getting ready to watch Little Einstein\'s on facebook. Here, I\'ll share so everyone can smile. He\'ll be 11 months next weekend!

I had a similar episode with my eyes and found relief with simple eyes drops, now I keep a bottle handy at all times.
