Totally blew it

Today was another bum day. I had gas pains last night. I get them so bad they cause trembling, cold sweats, and vomiting. Last night was just pain and vomiting. These episodes leave me completely exhausted. So I woke up this morning exhausted. Ihad to take care of my twin grandbabies, so no treadmill and I forgot my meds. skipped breakfast. had 2 Totinos pizzas (the small ones) between me and the babies.  The babies are only 14 months old so you know i ate almost all of it. Then I was still gassy from the night before so I had a soda. I didn't eat anything else all day till 9 pm. I was just going to get a home made smoothie, but instead I had a mini-cake thing. Then I decided to make the frozen tamales. On top of that I was craving good n plenty candies, so my son went and got me some. I felt so happy eating them. I felt like a puppy just wagging its tail. Of course now I feel like s#@t.  I figure I ate over 2800 calories today. Of course before I started this, that would have just been a normal day. A day like today could have easily turned into a real good binge.  I forced myself to get on the treadmill. I barely made 11- steps. Really wanted to do at least 120 but it's not happening today. The difference is that this time I'm not throwingin the towel. Tomorrow I will get back on track and hit it hard. This is just a setback. I can handle it. I will try to get a good nights sleep and wake up energized and ready to go.

Sorry for the bum day! But you\'ve got the right attitude, Just put it behind you and get back on track. No sense beating yourself up for a slip, we\'ve all done it. Today IS a new day!! Take good care of yourself, and make it a good one!

I\'ll be thinking of you...

Do not beat yourself up over this day! We are only human, and we will have these bad days like the one you have had today! I ate lays chips today. Bad no no for me, but you know what? Its done and over with and in the past! Just try to start today with a fresh mind, attitude, and hopefully, it will be better for you! Twin grandbabies and 14 months old! I have one that is 4 months old, and my other will be born in Feb of 2010. Just a year apart.

Sorry to hear this, but your description of symptoms reminded me strongly of a teacher...he was diagnosed with Crohn\'s Disease. I just am concerned, have you discussed these symptoms with a doctor?
