TOTAL Meltdown
July 2, 2011: Went to the cemetery today to put a 4th of July pinwheel by Scott's grave. Caretaker's took almost ALL his flowers and other things away. :( They even took a handmade wooden cross away! I just lost it.
And, next to Scott is his Grandma. They did the same thing to her "stuff". Really? After four/five years?
Anyway, I totally lost it. Stupid "stuff". But, it is not their stuff, their meaning, their emotion....
So sad. :(

Ginger, what would possess them to remove items from a grave site? I am just in shock at the callousness and insensitivity on their part. I am so sorry you were subjected to this. I don\'t suppose the items were put away somewhere and you can get them back? Big hug, dear one. How awful!

We have \"rules\" at Morgan\'s gravesite, the \"rules are posted when you enter. Could the cemetary have changed something in operations and decide to change \"rules\" of what you can have and cannot?
You should go ask, we must remove things and only have certain decorations or they will take them. I an so sorry this has caused such grief for you,, ((((hugs))))) Nora
I know I would have been in meltdown as well. I hope you can be assured by someone there that this can never occur again.

Ginger, I am so sorry this has happened. It would upset me and make me very sad as well. Our cemetary has signs posted that during mowing season, to please remove anything that is in the way of mowing or weedeating or else they will remove it. Could that possibly be why? Call them and find out and at least see if they have your items they took up. Sending you a hug....Love, Kim

Ginger, I am so sorry that this has upset you. Like others, I wonder if maybe they need to remove things for lawn mowing or such? I am thinking that if everyone puts things in the cemetery, then maybe it would be overwhelming? I hope you can call and get an answer that brings you some peace about it. Love Belinda
